The only thing I didn't like about this book was that some of the cookie recipes called out for using Betty Crocker's boxed mixes - I'd rather make homemade from scratch cookies than use a recipe that tells me what boxed cake/cookie mix to buy.
Most recipes begin with the first ingredient being "Betty Crocker's cookie mix". Yikes. I was looking for "from scratch" Christmas cookie recipes. If I wanted a mix, I would have just bought it to begin with.

Good if you don't want to cook from scratch. I returned it because it uses the baking mixes.
Excellent book with plenty of good recipes for Christmas cheer. Covers everything about cookies to bars and includes brownies. Nice treats for the holiday season family and guests.
Many of the recipes use boxes of betty crocker stuff. This is not like the "from scratch" Betty Crocker cookie book I grew up with.
Didn't really like this book. Some recipes were from scratch, but many were oriented towards buying their remade cookie mixes. I didn't know that part when I bought it.
